Every time I get a fun box of goodies in from CraftProjectIdeas.com, I do a happy dance! I know the box is going to be filled with new crafty goodness that my daughter and her friends will enjoy. Hey, I might even like it a little, too. Or maybe a lot. One of the things I like most about CraftProjectIdeas.com products is that they are easily found at Walmart, and they have an excellent assortment of materials. I can go get craft supplies for my daughter to use at home and pick up children’s church activities at the same spot. It’s a great time saver! This month, my daughter and I made Cross Bracelets for her little friends.
Supplies:
Measure your child’s wrist and add about 3 inches to the measurement. Cut two lengths of Sparkle Elastic Cord that are this measurement. Knot them together at one end, and tape the end to the table to secure it in place.
String the beads onto the double cord. Even if your child is too young to string the beads, this is a great opportunity to give them a chance to practice making ‘patterns’ and choosing the order to string the beads. Add a shell cross charm in the mix of the beads as desired.
When finished, tie the two opposite ends together. Add a dab of hot glue to secure and clip ends.
We made nine of these for her little church friends!
