A special thanks to Consumer Crafts for providing the supplies for this Chicken Wire Easter Decor. Project and opinions are my own.
I wish I had a mantel. I would even settle for a little table that didn’t have kid’s stuff on it. And if I had one, I would put cute little seasonal decorations like this on it! This Chicken Wire Easter Decor can be made in under 10 minutes, excluding drying time. It adds a bright pop of color!
Supplies Needed (all of these items can be purchased from Consumer Crafts):
- Card stock in desired colors
- Chicken Wire Frame
- Chalk Paint
- Paintbrush
- Mini Clothes Pins
- Optional: Die cutting machine
Begin by cutting out shapes in the desired colors with the die cutting machine. Alternatively, you can also order pre-cut shapes from Consumer Crafts. I cut the eggs with my Cricut machine in shades of pink.
Paint the chicken wire frame with the chalk paint, and let it dry.
Attach the shapes to the frame with the mini clothes pins.

Such an adorable DIY! Perfect for our Easter crafting party we have planned with the gals! Thanks for sharing!
That is so cute. The prices at Consumer Craft are very reasonable. Thanks!
What a fun DIY project for Easter….and it can easily be changed for other holidays/seasons!
That is what I was thinking! I think it would be really neat to just put this at the front of my home near the door, and then just switch it out with whatever holiday’s cutouts!
What a cute and simple craft! love it!
What a cute idea, and love that the chicken wire is kind of Eastery in itself!
Very cute Easter decoration! And thanks for the video, I’m definitely a visual learner.
This is so cute! I’m always looking for something new to put on my mantel for spring!
