It’s berry season here in the south! My daughter claims that Christmas is her favorite time of the year, but I secretly know that it’s really summer berry season. We have blueberry bushes and a raspberry bush here at our house, and she asks every morning to go pick berries when she knows that they are ripe. Our raspberry bush is within a few feet of our house, so sometimes I see her out front just picking berries and eating them. We like pairing raspberries with almost anything, but for those unfamiliar with raspberries, it can be difficult to know how to add them to different tastes. Today I’d like to share a few of our personal favorite recipes that we use to celebrate summer. The combination of Raspberry Lime Sweet Tea, a Spicy Turkey Wrap, and a Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Cake makes #TEArifficPairs for summer refreshment! Read on for three delectable recipes and plenty of photo eye candy!
What should we start with first? How about the beverage?

Now you have something sweet to sip on while making the wrap.
Spicy Turkey Wrap
Ingredients:
- Large burrito or wrap
- 1/4 cup ranch
- 1 tsp. sauce from adobe chili peppers
- Romaine lettuce, chopped
- Grape tomatoes, chopped
- Deli turkey
- A quarter of a lime
- Optional: Pepperjack Cheese
Begin by warming the the tortilla. Next, make the spicy spread by mixing the sauce from the adobe peppers with the ranch.
Spread the spicy ranch on the wrap.
Layer the turkey, veggies, and optional cheese on the wrap.
Squeeze the lime over the veggies and fold wrap.
Let’s finish this meal off with an absolutely delicious ice cream cake. Made with only 2 ingredients, this Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream cake is the easiest ice cream cake that I’ve ever made.
Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
- Klondike bars– 2 boxes
- Ben & Jerry’s That’s My Jam Core Ice Cream– 2 cartons
Begin my slightly thawing out one carton of ice cream– just enough to make it spreadable. Open one box of Klondike bars. Unwrap all six bars and lay them out on a tray. Cover them with a layer of ice cream.
Layer with six more Klondike bars.
Cover with a layer of ice cream. I had to open and thaw a second carton to complete this step. If at any time during the process the cake starts to thaw, pop it back into the freezer for a few minutes. Optional: drizzle with a raspberry syrup and garnish with fresh raspberries.
The cake cuts better than I imagined. I simple used a sharp knife. This dessert offers a cool treat with a great balance of chocolate and raspberries.
These three recipes are #TEArifficPairs for an easy summertime lunch or dinner. They are light and refreshing without too many ingredients! Less time in the kitchen means more time with the family during the summer months.
I purchased all my ingredients from Walmart. The Klondike Bars and Ben & Jerry’s items were easily located in the frozen food section of the store.
Yum, yum, and YUM! Thanks for the great recipe ideas! Pinned!

So many tea choices are out there, I never thought of pairing any of the with a particular food. Great post here, and thanks for doing this one!
