Thank you to everyone who loved the Washi Tape Thank You card from last week. It has been one of my favorite homemade cards to date- until this one, that is! I needed to send out another Thank You card this week, and I ran across a few leftover butterfly wings from the Butterfly Pudding Cups from last month. I almost threw them away, but then I thought that they may look bright and pretty on a card. And they do! One perk of being on the PSA Essentials Design Team is that it is encouraging me to expand my card making skills. A “Thank You” to them for the inspiration and for providing the stamp for today’s project!
Supplies:
- Card stock card
- Pretty paper tape
- PSA Essentials Stamp Body
- PSA Essentials black ink
- PSA Essentials “Thank You” Peel & Stick Stamp
- Glue
- Solid color card stock
- Pretty patterned card stock
- Scissors
- 1″ circle
Apply the pretty paper tape to the side and bottom of the front of the card. Cut off any excess on the ends.
Print off the Butterfly wing pattern. Trace the pattern on the solid card stock and patterned card stock. Cut them out. Glue the smaller patterned card stock on the solid card stock piece.
Glue the wings to the front of the card.
Stamp “Thank You” to the front of the silver circle. I am using black PSA Essentials ink.
Glue the circle to the front of the card in the center of the wings.
Let the glue dry, and your card is ready to send!
There are so many color combinations that you can do with this card. I hope this is a pretty surprise for my recipient. Now, let me head to the mailbox.

Love this idea
Cute card! I love butterflies. And the pudding cup treats look like a great companion.
So beautiful and fun! I love how they turned out and how easy it is to make. I’m not very crafty, but I’d love to try this one out. I love what you did with the pudding cups too. Adorable!
I am completely not a craft kind of person. However, you have made this look so easy. I am sure I can make a card just like this one.
This card is beautiful–I’d love to make one similar to it for Mother’s Day for next year, or even as a birthday card for a friend 🙂
This is gorgeous! I absolutely love it!
I love these cards and thank you for sharing them today! I like anything that looks homemade as it is always a special present and gift!
Love the cute card, and really love how you attached the butterfly to pudding cups! Cute snack idea.
