It’s spring, everybody! I’m loving this warmer weather. I caught spring fever and planted flowers in a few hanging baskets this week. My kids have been playing outside, and last week I saw my daughter chasing a butterfly. These are the definite markers of spring, and in honor of spring and butterflies and all things warm, I’ve created these cute Butterfly Pudding Cups! This is a cute and simple crafty snack made with Snack Packs, and they can be made ahead of time for transporting to a party or a classroom.
Supplies:
- Chocolate or Vanilla Snack Pack pudding cups
- Butterfly wing template
- Solid color card stock
- Printed card stock
- Pom poms
- Fuzzy sticks
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Glue dots
Download and print the Butterfly Wing Template. Cut out the wings from the template. Cut the larger wings from solid card stock. Cut the wing inserts from patterned card stock. Be sure to flip the wing template and cut mirror images for the opposite wing for each cup.
Use the glue stick to glue the wing insert on the larger wing.
Use Glue Dots to attach the wings to the back of the Snack Pack pudding cup.
Use Glue Dots to attach a pom and fuzzy stick pieces to the upper back of the pudding cup.
I think these are super cute! My daughter wants to know when I’m bringing them to her class. The new easy open lids are better for little hands to be able to open the pudding cups on their own.
Have fun playing around with the card stock color options and the flavor options. We found many favors at Walmart. I think the lemon would look lovely with white or cream wings!
I’ve created an Instagram video for you to showcase how easy it is to whip up these Butterfly Pudding Cups!
