Did you catch the Knit Bow Baby Headband from earlier this week? I couldn’t just stop at one baby headband! I made my daughter wear hairbands as a baby, and now she still doesn’t really like them, so when I have a chance to send a gift to a friend pregnant with a baby girl, I always include a hairband or hairbow. Baby headbands are easy to make, and this Big Bow Baby Headband can be made in under 30 minutes!
Supplies (affiliate supply links included):
- Stretchy elastic crochet headband– These headbands look small, but their stretch is GREAT!
- Canvas Corp Canvas Denim flower
- Colorful buttons- I’m using a few from ShopLauraKelly.com
- Thread
- Needle (for hand sewing)
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
Hot glue the buttons in the center of the Canvas Corp flower.
Place the flower off center on top of the headband. Use the hand needle and thread to carefully attach the flower to the headband. Use small stitches to sew in and out. The Canvas Corp flower has a different color fabric backing that works great for this. You do not need to sew in the flower itself, only the fabric underneath and attached to the flower. Sew all the way around the piece underneath until it is completely attached to the headband.
That’s it!
