My boys are getting to where they appreciate and understand group games. They enjoy playing them in school and group settings. It’s a good thing and bad thing. With three boys, they are more than competitive! As a mom, I like games that have an educational component. This Beginner Bingo helps with shapes, colors, and following directions.
I’m including a pack of 6 different bingo cards. There are slight variations to each of the 6 cards. There is also one card included that you can use to create cards to draw for the game. On this card, you’ll cut the shapes from thick card stock, place them into a bowl, and draw them for the game.
To access the cards, click THIS LINK to head to a dropbox folder that contains the cards. Print them on your home printer using thick card stock. Optionally, you could also print it on regular paper and laminate them.
Goldfish crackers make for fun playing pieces. You can add an additional element to the game by having the kids match the color of the Goldfish crackers to the color of the shape.
Goldfish crackers now receive their colors from natural sources.
- Red: The red Goldfish crackers are colored using a mix of red beet juice concentrate and paprika extracted from sweet red peppers.
- Green: The green Goldfish crackers color comes from watermelon & Huito juice concentrates mixed with extracted Turmeric.
- Yellow: The yellow Goldfish crackers color comes from extracted Turmeric.
- Blue: The subtle blue crackers come from Huito (derived from South American fruit) and Watermelon juice concentrates.
Fans can now “Plant Their Vote” for their favorite Goldfish cracker color. The color with the most votes will receive its own limited edition bag. Vote from 9/2/17-10/31/17.
