Last year I posted the Baby’s First Christmas Printable Ornament a tad too late, so I wanted to get a version for this year out a bit sooner. I used this last year as a tag for a gift for a baby who was having her first Christmas. I think it’s a nice addition to a gift. The parents can use it as a keepsake for a baby box or a scrapbook, too!
The printable is sized for a standard piece of printer paper. The ornament has a “chalkboard” finish, making it in gray scales rather than being completely black. To use it, right click the below image to save it to your computer. Use your printer to print it from there!
If you look at the ornament in last year’s post, you may notice that the printed ornament looks lighter or glittery. I printed it on glitter paper! Yep, you can experiment with different paper finishes to change the look of the ornament. Or just print it on plain white paper for a solid ornament. Even though the ornament is double-sided (once you cut and glue the pieces together), I recommend using card stock for printing the ornament. The extra thickness will help it withstand gift traveling and opening.
Use scissors to cut the two ornament pieces out. Place them, non-black sides together, and glue them. Use a hole punch to make the ornament hole at the top.
Attach to a gift with ribbon or twine.
