My sister had already made the hooded baby blanket with super soft yarn, so I only had to add a few pieces to the set (thanks, sis!!).
I’ve seen tutorials for the tie onesie and the owl pillow all over the internet. But, of course, when I needed one I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I had seen them.ย I obviously need to invest some time in Pinterest. So I pulled out the fabric and a pencil and sketched something up. Usually, this type of endeavor ends in a huge fail, but it actually worked out this time around! I was pleased with both the onesie and owl pillow.
My husband even loved the tie onesie. I loved how he asked me incredulously, “Who made that? That’s really neat!”. The hubby also liked the pillow, although he did think that it was “Z” off of Nick Jr.
I’m all about presentation- even if you don’t have alot of money to spend on a gift, how it’s presented can make a world of difference. I tied all the pieces together with a white ribbon and added one of my little lamb Cricut cards to the front. I included a custom list inside of the card that detailed the items in the gift set for an additional polish.
Tons of fun to make and give! If anyone has any of the tutorials for the owls or tie onesie, let me know so I can Pin, Bookmark them, Favorite them…you get the idea!!
Very cute! I’m impressed with the sewing skills, I have NONE! Love the tie onesie.
I came over from the skip to my lou link party and I’m a new follower!

I agree, presentation really gives your gifts a push! It makes the distinction between {lovingly handcrafted} and plain-jane homemade.
But what I am really stopping by for is that I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. You can check out this post to accept!
