Avocado Mayo is tasty and healthier than traditional mayo. We made the switch not too long ago and haven’t looked back! This post is sponsored by OXO.
Over a decade ago, I purchased my very first manual food processor. My mom had a big food processor that she would pull out for a few recipes, but we never owned a manual one. I loved using it from the beginning! The manual food processor made smooth guacamole easy, and it mastered the art of fine cut onions more than I ever could.
And then, last month, after 10 years of use, it shredded its last onion. I was devastated! What slicer would I find that would ever be equivalent to my handy-dandy processor?
Enter the OXO One Stop Chop Manual Processor.
The name of this slicer says it all! From slicing onions to making perfect pesto to slivering almonds, the OXO One Stop Chop is the best addition to my kitchen small appliance arsenal. Since it is manual, I can easily control the texture and chopping consistency of the item that I am processing. I also like that the OXO One Stop Chop has minimal parts, making it simple to clean and store. AND it suctions to the counter with one of the best suction mechanisms that I’ve experience with slicers.
The OXO One Stop Chop is an awesome side kick to making this Avocado Mayo from Justin Chapple’s Just Cook It! recipe book.
The OXO One Stop Chop pureed the avocados creamily, and I was able to use the OXO One Stop Chop to quickly combine the remaining ingredients.
Here’s the tasty recipe straight from Justin Chapple’s Just Cook It!, a recipe book filled with tasty and unique recipes for all occasions.
The book contains many full color photos of completed dishes. I am excited to make this one next.
What would you use the OXO One Stop Chop Manual Food Processor to slice and dice? I bet it will also come in handy for Pico de Gallo!
For all those avocado lovers this is a great spread. Perfect on tacos and sandwiches.
I would love this spread on everything! I am a big fan of avocado toast, and making egg salad with avocados. Thanks for the inspiration and the OXO looks like it would be a great help!
We love avocados and can’t get enough of them. This mayo sounds like a great garnish for just about anything and that food processor is one we need to get.
I’m allergic to avocado unfortunately, but this processor looks like something I could use for other recipes. I’d probably try a homemade mayo with it.
I can’t wait to make this! I just LOVE avocado. This will be perfect on my sandwiches–I have a lot of them during the summer.
I am in love with avocado. I eat probably four or five a week sometimes. The creaminess and amazing flavor beats standard mayonaise any day of the week.
Now I would never have thought of making an avocado mayo but what an interesting idea! I would definitely be interested in giving it a whirl.
Oh wow, I never thought avocado can be made into a mayonnaise! Now I’m curious how it would taste like. I mean I love avocado, this morning I was just thinking about it.
That looks a really great recipe! This is one that I will certainly be trying out for myself. Love avocado!

I love avocado, I can eat it whatever it is prepared. I especially like it in a salad or as a dessert.
I have never tried avocado mayo before but it sounds delicious! I am sure I would love it!!
I will have to try this recipe and check out that neat chopper!
Now this is right up my alley! I love avocado and mayo! Having spreadable mayo makes it so the slices don’t slide off your burger and chicken sandwiches lol.
The OXO one-stop food processor looks really versatile. I can understand your feeling about your old one. Always one feels at a loss when a gadget that has served you for years conks. But usually you end up getting a more advanced one. The Avocado Mayo sounds like a healthier option too.
I love guac and avocado. It’s so tasty. Time to make this recipe. Guac is scrumptious on a salad or on a burrito. YUM.
I have never tried avocado mayo! This recipe looks easy enough for the kids to make for me!
Avocado and mayo sounds like an interesting mix. I haven’t tried it, but I bet it’s perfect for when you have guests.
