Adding Eggos to the Holidays #EggoWaffleOff #sponsored

Sponsored Post Logo from It Happens in a Blink

Have you enjoyed the past few weeks of Eggo Waffle recipes? I have another amazing recipe that I can’t wait to share with you on Wednesday (think Breakfast for Dinner!), but I’m already thinking ahead for the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas are speeding this way quickly, and I wonder- How can I add Eggos to my holiday dinner this year?

So I pose the question to my readers- what is your favorite holiday dish? What classics would you like to see include Eggos? Leave a comment with your ideas, and I may choose your dish to Waffle-ize!

And remember- Do you have a creative spin on an Eggo recipe? Eggo is currently taking entrants for their Great Waffle Off! Entrants have a chance to win big with a $5,000 grand prize! Two entrants will win $2,500, and eight entrants will win a year’s worth of Eggo products. Enter on their Facebook page, check out the info on their website, or get more inspiration on their Pinterest board.

Ooooh… some of my favourite holiday dishes? What about stuffing? (That could be so yummy, if Eggos were used instead of bread!) or French toast? Wife Saver Casserole?

Some other ideas I have… Bread Pudding, Trifle, maybe an Eggo crust for pumpkin pie?

My brain is just swirling with ideas right now! ๐Ÿ™‚

I bet Eggos would be delish in some type of monkey bread/French toast dish!

Oooooo Eggos in Holiday dishes would be so fun. The first thing that comes to mind would be stuffing… but I bet it would be great as toasted, ground up and used as a crust for pumpkin cheese cake. Yum! Now I’m totally hungry.:)

There must be some way to make waffles into pumpkin pie… yum. I’d be in for that!

I love that you’re thinking outside the box with Eggos…hmmmm…holiday foods – – I immediately think of pies like apply or pumpkin (a la mode of course). Any opportunity for ice cream on top of Eggos is okay in my book!

Can’t wait to see what you create next!

What about eggo’s with a pumpkin pie custard on top or perhaps with cranberries?

I love the idea of making a breakfast casserole or french toast bake with eggos. I’m suddenly craving waffles:)

I was thinking maybe a desert where you set up a station where everyone could put their own toppings – like different flavored spreads, fruit, granola etc..
