Is a Pop-It on you child’s Christmas wish list? Pop-It toys are the latest trendy fidget toy, and my kids found out about them at school. They have each asked for one for Christmas, and if you follow along on Instagram, then you know they make neat stocking stuffers. But if you are wondering what kids can do with them other than fidget, here are 5 Simple Pop-It activities.

Simple Addition or Subtraction
We all have those kids who can’t get past counting on their fingers. The pop-it can be used for simple addition or subtraction problems and perhaps help a child get past finger counting.
Multiplication
Write multiplication facts on the pop-it for practice.
Pattern Making
Kids can make and follow patterns. This is a great activity for younger kids.
Counting by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, 20’s
Practice counting by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, 20’s, and more by pressing down a bubble every time the child counts.
Sight Word Practice
With a black marker, write a letter on each bubble. Press down a letter to spell out sight words or to work on spelling practice.
These Pop-Its are manufactured by Buffalo Games. These Pop-Its are high quality (the bubbles stay down and pop when they are supposed to!), and they even offer licensed characters like Disney (our favorite ones)! The Pop-Its make a neat stocking stuffer, gift topper, or main gift for the little in your life. Find them at a local Walmart or Target retailer near you. I spotted some at my local Walmart. Of course, they are also available on Amazon!
