Last week, I asked my daughter to walk around to the back of the house to check on something. This may not seem like a big deal, but my daughter has been stung by a bee twice this summer alone, leaving her sometimes terrified to go outside. For weeks after being stung, she wouldn’t even walk to the mailbox. When I asked her to walk to the back by herself, I waited for her to hesitate. She surprised me by not even blinking an eye!
“I’m proud of you!” I called out to her. “I’m glad that you are over your fear of bees.”
“Oh, I’m still afraid, Mom. But I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, so I figured that I would be okay,” she replied.
I smiled as I watched her walk away, proud of her for more reasons than one.
While my words can certainly be encouraging to her, words straight from God are, too! There are many edifying verses in the Bible, but the ones that I chose for these Bible Verse Lunchbox notes are ones that are familiar to most kids and may be the easiest for them to understand. I made them to include in her lunch box on days when she may need a reminder of God’s words to her!
I’d be honored if you want to download these and include them in your child’s lunch box, too! Right click the photo below to save the printable to your computer. Print them out with your printer using your computer software. Cut them out with scissors. To make them reusable, run them through a laminating machine. I have (aff link) this one and love it!
